Was Zach Braff so macht …

Nachdem gestern, am 6. Mai, das Staffel- und wahrscheinlich gleichzeitig Serienfinale von Scrubs war, hat Zach Braff gestern Abend noch eine Nachricht über Myspace geschrieben:

Dear Friends,
Tonight is the Series Finale of Scrubs (as we know it…)
Please feel free to read into the preceding parenthetical.

Yesterday a very nice man came up to me while I was ordering a burrito at Baja Fresh for Cinco De Mayo and said, „Thank you for the last eight years. You’ve made me laugh so hard sometimes I almost threw up.“ Even though I was on line for food, the sentiment made me feel very warm and fuzzy in my heart.

I could never possibly thank you all enough for all your kind words and support.
Stay tuned, there’s more to come………………….

Also im Grunde ein kurzer Abschied von Scrubs, weil er ja nicht mehr dabei sein wird, selbst wenn Scrubs noch weitergehen sollte. Das „Stay tuned, there’s more to come“ meint er glaub ich aber nicht scrubsbezogen (könnte ja sein, da er in Gastrollen auftreten wird, sollte Scrubs noch weitergehen), sondern damit meint er sein neues Projekt, das er in einem Interview auch bestätigt hat:

I’m writing a new movie which is the first thing I’ve written since Garden State. I haven’t really had time. That was another reason to part from Scrubs is that I really wanted to write and make more films and I hadn’t had a chance to do that. And also meeting on certain films to direct things I haven’t necessarily written. What I’d really like to do is make another movie because I really enjoyed it.

Zach Braff hat also endlich wieder Zeit, einen Film zu machen, und das freut uns natürlich, vor allem wenn dabei wieder so ein guter Film wie Garden State herauskommen sollte.
